Ride Description

This is a well used route, but favoured by bikers, thanks to the fun and enjoyable riding you can get along the way. Your route takes you out of the high glaciers on a lengthy descent towards the coast. At Haast you’ll leave the coast behind and travel along a well maintained road through Mount Aspiring National Park, a flat earthland than offers some long turns and gradual, sweeping bends to enjoy.

Directions

Head southwards out of Fox Glacier on the SH6, which takes you the whole way into Wanaka.
