A great ride along some fantastic roads through the Blue Mountains, leaving from western Sydney. A good 6 hours including stops (4 hours with no stops).
This is a great ride that for Sydney riders, is a must have for a quick weekend ride (or better yet, miss the traffic and head out mid-week). The duratio of this ride is varied depending on how many stops you want to enjoy along the way.
From Parramatta take Windsor Rd then to Richmond. Then onto the Bell line Rd. Stop at Bilpin for coffee and apple pie.
Then back on the Bell Line Rd to Bell. Turn left past the Weigh Station and head to mt Victoria.
At Mt Victoria Turn left back onto the Great Western Hwy. Pull off in Leura for a hot soup and bread roll.
After a bit of sight seeing south of Leura get back on the Great Western and head back to parramatta.
Total time… About 6 hrs including stops. 4 hrs no stops.

Best Thing about This Ride
The scenery along the Bell is spectacular. The Apple Pie at Bilpin is the best I have ever had.
What Else to Look Out For
The Bell Line can have an unexpected bump or two… Practice safe riding and it is ok.
Also the traffic on the great western hwy can get heavy on Sunday Afternoons.
