Ride Summary

A long 3 day ride through the South Western region of Western Australia.

Ride Description

This ride is best done over three days to be enjoyed. And I have found the best weather is late Feb early March spening the first night in Albany and the second in Busselton and you will be home just after lunch on the third day. The ride goes through some of WA best country side ranging from open farming country to thick woody forrest and the Stirling Ranges. Good places to eat in Wagin, Pemberton and Pinjarra for lunch on each day.

Directions

Ride heads out of the Perth area to Bunbury, following the coast to Albany before heading north and inland back towards the city.

Best Thing About This Ride

The countryside and some great roads winding through the forrest areas with some great straight sections with very long sweeping bends. Sues Road is a fantastic road with wide open sections with long cambered sweeping bends.

What Else to Look Out For

We have seen some roos during the ride, if you ride over the weekend the last section of the Albany run is a bit limmited with fuel stops make sure you have a full tank when you leave Gnowangerup.
