Alternative route to following the road to Anglesea on your way back to Melbourne. Beautiful ride through the Angahook Lorne State Park and Deans Marsh.

Directions

Head out of Lorne back towards Anglesea along the GOR, however just out of Lorne turn left onto the Deans Marsh Lorne Road. Follow this road all the way up the hill towards Winchelsea.]

Best Thing About This Ride

The section after the speed limit increases to 100km p/hour is great fun; similar to some of the sections in the Alpine Region of Victoria – only shorter.

What Else To Look Out For

Nothing to speak of. Road flattens out at the end of the ride so take in the scenery or stop for a coffee.
