Ride Summary

A nice ride along the coast through Ellis Beach, Wangetti and includes beautiful views from Rex Lookout. Then a tight windy run up the range to Mount Molloy.

Ride Description

A comfortable 1.5hr ride along the beautiful coastal road between Cairns and Port Douglas. This road is spectacular, with the rain forest one side and the Coral Sea the other. Plenty to do and see along the way as well, so take your time and enjoy.

Directions

Ride begins in Cairns and heads up the coast towards Port Douglas along Highway 44. Note that this road will take you all the way to Mount Molloy (veer left at the turnoff for Shannonvale).

Best Thing About This Ride

The great views of the coastline, tight winding corners, sweeping bends, and once you hit the Mossman – Mount Molloy Road, that’s where the riding really begins.
