Ride Summary

The ride from Ballina to Tenterfield will take you onto the famous Bruxner Highway, an area rated very highly among local bikers due to the amount of turns compared to other roads in the area. This is about a 2 and a half hour ride with no stops, and heads dead West from the Pacific Ocean coastline.

Ride Description

There is heavy a heavy police presence that patrols these roads near the beginning of the ride from the coastline to Lismore. If you don’t want a ticket then it is a good idea to take it easy on this part of the journey until you reach the twisty roads after Drake. This is where the real fun part of the ride begins, with a scenic countryside and some very exciting winding roads. From Black Swamp to Tenterfield the roads are a little less dramatic, but they offer a smooth ride in a beautiful and natural setting.
